If you are ready, so are we. Let's get started today! About Us "Herman" John L. Herman Jr., known simply as "Herman" graduated with a degree in business from Towson University. Herman took graduate classes at Johns Hopkins University and spent time on active duty in the United States Air Force where he attended Pilot Training. Herman was a qualified combat pilot who served time in the Maryland Air National Guard. Herman began his business career owning small companies, one of which became a national concern with a license to sell franchises in 35 States. The products he developed were named "Products of the Year" in Popular Mechanics magazine. Herman took the company Public, sold stock at twenty times the opening price, and like many American enterprises, failed due to poor capital structure. In his next business venture Herman started a company that became a national success working with financially distressed entities, ultimately buying and/or selling more than 300 businesses in 41 different States. Herman is recognized as an "expert witness" throughout the bankruptcy court system, testifying as to valuations, reorganization plans, and the sale of assets in Chapter 11. In total Herman has founded or co-founded more than twenty companies. The Innkeeper Tales and Hermanisms: Axioms for Business & Life are two books written by Herman, and while still very active as an intermediary brokering investments in, and the sale of troubled companies...Herman also is a nationally recognized professional speaker. Herman is the co-founder along with Julian Awad of www.HermanUniversity.com to provide a resource for all business minded people. He lives near Baltimore, Maryland with his wife Maggie and together they parent five grown children and have five grandchildren. |
